What is Authentic Self Empowerment™ ?

Authentic Self Empowerment (ASE) is a simple, practical and dynamic set of skills that anyone can learn and use to overcome challenging situations, whether they are manifestations on the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual level. It is also the most powerful way which I have come across to achieve goals as well as harness the Law of Attraction to manifest your desires.


This profound method of self empowerment, personal development and deep healing was developed by Jevon Dängeli after his extensive research in the fields of NLP, HNLP, Hypnotherapy, Time-Based Techniques™, Energy-Resourcing™, personal growth modalities, quantum physics and spiritual systems.

The ASE method is effective in helping individuals easily connect with their inner wisdom/greater intelligence to deal more resourcefully with any type of dis-ease, stress, depression, unwanted mental and emotional states, addiction, trauma, phobia, relationship problems, abuse and physical sickness. ASE can be used to help you find direction, clarify goals, connect with your core values, find your life's purpose and be motivated.

ASE enables you to overcome negative emotions and mind sets that prevent your success and happiness. A negative emotion is an emotion that is toxic to the body and interferes with its balance and harmonious functioning. Fear, anxiety, anger, bearing a grudge, sadness, hatred, jealousy and envy all disrupt the energy flow through your body, affect the heart, the immune system, digestion, production of hormones, and so on.


How can ASE help with such a wide range of issues?

ASE is useful in helping most people deal with any of life's challenges because it is applied at the very core, or root of your presenting issue. If required, ASE addresses the original emotional event(s) that has lead to your problem or challenge. Through a gentle guided process using visualization and kinaesthetic awareness your issue is healed and transformed as its occurrence takes on a new meaning in your life. You become empowered as the blockages to the flow of energy in your body and mind naturally disappear. Necessary resources and relevant learnings are accessed metaphorically to change any limiting perspectives and beliefs. Then new options, responses and alternative behaviours are introduced and appropriately integrated.

The Authentic Self Empowerment™ Experience is one of those that creates wonder in the event and for days afterwards. It is a very useful approach to accessing the resources present in all of us and connecting with our own inner wisdom. The insights I received during this Facilitator's Training were instant and ground breaking. It was very well facilitated by Jevon who has a very effective approach to sharing this revolutionary approach to personal development and self empowerment. Since the way in which people define their reality is based on their perceptions and defined metaphorically through language, insight and change of any internal and subjective representation will have a direct result in that person's external and objective experience. In fact, changes to imaginative representations have been correlated with changes in heart rate, galvanic skin response, blood pressure, and a host of other chemical and neurophysiological effects. For this reason, changes in metaphoric representation effects cognition, which in turn generates new thoughts, feelings and behaviour. Just as any problem is created through the conditioned perceptual filters of the mind, so too can the solution be found by means of new expanded and resourceful perceptions being brought into awareness.

Basic guidelines for using ASE

for the purpose of achieving Authentic Self Empowerment, Personal Transformation and Healing:


Here are the 6 basic steps of the classic ASE method which summarize the more comprehensive ASE method that follows below:

1. Consider a current challenge, problem or issue that you are experiencing in your life, or think about a goal you’d like to achieve, or define your intention behind wanting to be Authentically Self Empowered. If it is to overcome a problem, then how does the issue feel in your body now?

2. Define your outcome. How you will experience yourself, physically, mentally and emotionally once you’ve completely overcome your issue or achieved your goal.

3. Imagine that you can look down at yourself in that situation (problem or goal context) from high up and far away. Get the big picture! Notice how your current experience fits into the greater scheme of things.

4. From this point of view what can you learn? How many more options do you have? What can you do differently?

5. Now, take your new understanding / perspective and bring it into your body. With the(se) resource(s) in awareness, what is the next smallest step that you can take which leads toward your desired outcome?

6. Take action!

Here is the more comprehensive ASE method, containing 20 steps:

1. If working on a problem or challenge, define your problem or challenge by asking yourself: How is this situation a problem in my life right now?

2. Define your desired outcome. If working on a problem or challenge, ask yourself: How would I rather experience this situation? Or if working on a goal: Who will I be as a person when I have achieved my goal?

3. Make sure that your desire is positive, that it serves your highest interest, as well as that of others and the environment as far as you can know. Ask yourself: What’s the most important thing to me about achieving this desire?

4. Close your eyes. Make yourself comfortable. Take a few relaxing breaths. Focus all your attention inside your body. Allow any thoughts to naturally come and go without resistance.

5. Start to assume a perspective as an observer of your body, essentially becoming a witness of your body resting beside or below you. You (as an observer) can notice your body as a separate entity.

6. Allow the dissociation between yourself as an observer and yourself as a body to develop. Imagine seeing your body further and further away from you, until your body and its environment is a tiny representation in the distance.

7. As an observer notice your body in its environment in the context of your whole life. Imagine seeing your whole life from beginning to end as a representation that is minute in the context of a greater universe. Observe your one lifetime as a single experience occurring simultaneously along with an infinite amount of lifetimes and experiences in the greater universe - all of which are occurring in the present moment.

8. You may be curious as to how your observed experience and lifetime connects with all other experiences and lifetimes in the infinite universe around you.

9. Take your time. Notice what you notice as the ultimate observer. Remain a witness to yours and all experiences without opinion or judgement.

10. Now pay attention to the individual you (your body in its environment) all the way over there in that one lifetime. Notice how the you in that representation is experiencing the present moment based on her or his beliefs and map of reality.

11. From your perspective as the ultimate observer, in a position of choice, infinite creativity and wisdom; go ahead and council, advise and comfort the you over there in that environment. Guide the you there in that lifetime to learn what she or he needs to learn, to understand what needs to be understood and to forgive where forgiveness is necessary.

12. Inform the you in that lifetime that she or he is always loved and supported in an abundant universe. Make sure that she or he becomes aware of the fact that each person is always doing the best they can with their current level of awareness.

13. Now, as the ultimate observer – a Being of infinite potential, connect with the resources that the you in that lifetime need in order to achieve her or his outcome.

14. As a Being that is always connected to an abundant universe, where all the resources necessary to achieve any goal are available, and with your present outcome based resources in awareness…Begin to float back toward the you in that lifetime. Merge and integrate the observer and the body in your own way.

15. Allow the awareness of the ultimate observer to enter every part of your body, every tissue, every cell and every sub-atomic particle. You may like to visualise glorious light penetrating and permeating throughout your body to support this process. Feel your body adjust or shift as the integration occurs.

16. Before you open your eyes, consider what the next smallest achievable step is that will lead you toward your desired outcome.

17. When you have a clear idea about what your next smallest step is, visualise yourself following through with it. Feel the state associated with the accomplishment of your desire arise through taking this step.

18. Spend a moment in gratitude that you’re able to move in the direction of your desire and that each step forward is energised by your desire - creating the success momentum that leads you to this inevitable result. Appreciate your body for being such a tremendous vehicle for healing and transformation.

19. Make a commitment to continue taking appropriate action. Allow your authentic self to inspire each thought and empower every action – therefore experiencing your desire…each step of the way.

20. Open your eyes, reorient yourself, get up slowly…and go for it!

You never know how far a change will go…

Continue focussing on the results you want to achieve and take action!

I trust that you will have some profoundly amazing experiences and sometimes some subtle life affirming experiences using the ASE model above. Whatever your experience is, it’s the right one for you.

Remember that the 20 steps above are merely guidelines, and they are not intended for you to use on anyone but yourself. Feel free to adapt this version of ASE so that you are totally comfortable with the process. On my ASE CD or MP3 recording I guide you through a more powerful yet less complex version of this process. These 20 steps provide you with the basic structure of the various ASE processes which I teach.
